Some recent inormation on AAT. Better terms than 'aquatic ape' are Littoral Theory (doastal diaspora of archaic Homo), google 'greg laden misconceptions verhaegen': rather than running over savannas, Pleistocene Homo simply followed coasts & rivers, collecting different waterside & shallow aquatic plant & animal foods.
